Eric Lee, Research Administrator, is responsible for pre- and post-award contracting duties including proposal preparation, award administration, subcontracting, and budget compliance. He prioritizes customer service and teamwork in his communications with Principal Investigators, Research Coordinators, Sponsored Projects Offices, and Contracts and Grants Accounting, as well as sponsor agencies and research institutions at the State, Federal, and private industry levels. His analytical approach, strong attention to detail, and collaborative style help to promote effective award administration throughout the life cycle.
Eric is also currently serving as Research Coordinator for the State of California’s “Fourth Climate Change Assessment” and “Climate Change Mitigation Research” projects.
Prior to this position, Eric served as the California Institute for Energy and the Environment’s Financial Analyst for five years in the review and reconciliation of project accounting, and contributed to personnel policy compliance, payroll reporting, and internal information technology support.
Before coming to Berkeley, Eric held positions in trust administration and hedge fund accounting. He holds an M.B.A. in Finance from California State University, East Bay, and a B.A. in Managerial Economics from University of California, Davis.
